One line, four steps
-
Blend
DCS-SZ continuous blending scales combine several grains and seeds by ratio: 300–40,000 kg/h depending on model, ±0.3% to ±0.5%.
-
Bag retail sizes
QZB-900R fully automatic, 1–5 kg pre-made bags (also 2.5–10 kg); DCS-15FB2 and DCS-10ZD2 semi-automatic scales for 0.5–15 kg.
-
Bag sacks
QZB-900D for 5–25 kg; DCS-50ZH belt feeding for 25–50 kg mixes that do not flow freely.
-
Close, inspect, palletize
Sewing or heat sealing, coding, check weighing and metal detection, then EC-171 robotic palletizing.
Choose by bag size
Specifications below are taken from each product page; speeds are tested with standard rice or maize and are confirmed for your mix.
| Bag weight & automation | Model | Published specs |
|---|---|---|
| Blending ahead of bagging | DCS-SZ series | 300–40,000 kg/h depending on model · ±0.3% to ±0.5% |
| 1–5 kg retail bags · fully automatic | QZB-900R | 800–1,000 bags/hour · pre-made plastic bags, with or without handle · also 2.5–10 kg |
| 0.5–15 kg · semi-automatic | DCS-15FB2 | 600–1,200 bags/hour · ±0.1% F.S. |
| 0.5–10 kg · semi-automatic | DCS-10ZD2 | 600–960 bags/hour · ±0.1% FS |
| 5–25 kg · fully automatic | QZB-900D | 600–900 bags/hour · laminated woven bags |
| 25–50 kg · belt feeding for hard-to-flow mixes | DCS-50ZH | 120–240 bags/hour · woven, jute or PP bags · for maize, mixed grains and irregular pellets |
| Robotic palletizing | EC-171 | 160 kg payload · up to 1,600 cycles/hour (bag application) |
Low-density mixes: 20 kg bags may run on the 25–50 kg platform. Model choice depends on bag size and bulk density, not just bag weight. Tell us your bag size and bulk density.
Customer project · Greece
Greece bird feed packing line
One bird feed producer in Greece runs several recipes and bag sizes, from small retail bags to large sacks. The mixes are irregular: sunflower seeds, peanuts and pellets of very different size and shape go into the same bag.
Equipment: QZB-700M (25–50 kg bag platform) and QZB-900 automatic baggers + FUJI EC-171 robotic palletizer

-
01Material
Mixed birdseed with sunflower seeds, peanuts and pellets. Pieces of very different size and shape flow differently, so feeding is matched to the mix.
-
02Weighing
The mix is fed from a hopper on a steel frame down to the weighing system.
-
03QZB-700M automatic bag placing & filling
The QZB-700M places each empty bag on the spout automatically and fills it with the weighed mix.
-
04Sewing with crepe tape
The filled bag moves along a conveyor and is sewn closed with crepe tape.
-
05FUJI EC-171 robotic palletizing
A FUJI EC-171 palletizing robot picks the sewn bags from the conveyor and stacks them on the pallet.
-
06Finished pallets
Finished bags stacked on a pallet at the end of the line.
Two baggers on one site

The site runs a QZB-900 automatic bagger alongside the QZB-700M. The QZB-700M is a 25–50 kg bag platform, and it also runs a 20 kg pigeon mix: the mix has low density, so 20 kg needs a large bag.

Materials we pack
Shapes and sizes vary from material to material. Tell us your product; we test on locally sourced material of the same type at our plant and send you the video.

What we need to configure your line
Recipe components and ratios
List each ingredient and its share, plus the number of SKUs and how often you change recipes.
Bag sizes and materials
Retail and bulk pack sizes, bag type (pre-made plastic, woven, paper) and closing method.
Target bags/hour
Output per pack size, available floor space and whether you need coding, check weighing or palletizing.
Before you choose
Can one line pack several birdseed recipes?
Often yes. Share your recipes, pack sizes and changeover frequency so we can confirm settings, cleaning and changeover time for each recipe.
Do sunflower seeds, peanuts and small seeds in one mix cause problems?
Mixed sizes and shapes can segregate or flow unevenly. We review feeding (gravity or belt) for your actual mix before selecting the machine.
Can I start with bagging and add blending or palletizing later?
Yes. Tell us your planned upgrades now so the layout, conveyors and control interfaces are considered in the first proposal.
Plan your project
