A secondary bagging machine that puts 5–10 kg (11–22 lb) pre-packed rice and flour packs, such as two-side vacuum packs, into an outer bag. The operator places the outer bag; the machine drops the packs in and sends the bag on to the sewing machine, at up to 1,800 bags per hour.

How one cycle works

  1. Bag placement
    The operator places the outer bag at the pre-storage station.
  2. Filling
    Packs drop into the bag, which keeps their shape.
  3. Lifting
    A servo lifting conveyor moves the bag smoothly and quietly.
  4. To sewing
    The bag goes on to the automatic sewing machine.

Bag size changes are made with handwheels, without tools.
